From Business Week (April 23, 2007), good/bad (?) news for some segments of the business world - the area of greatest resilience in the labor market is the service sector, which accounts for 84% of all payrolls. Over the past year, job growth in services has slowed but not as sharply as overall payrolls - the slowdown has been focused mainly in business services such as legal, computer and management consulting, and financial services.
