As a CIO, there are a number of priorities pulling you in very different directions each day. From a CIO magazine article, before you embark on taking on the world - make sure your organization is secure - you should be regularly running IT security audits - both with internal staff and with an impartial third party. Don't be afraid of what you will find - in the end your organizations security is what is most important.
